How this app handles your data

1 Information in the app

The app has no sign-up and no user accounts. You choose what to enter, and it is saved to a private database on your device. This can include:

• Shop details — shop name, phone number, GST number, logo image, payment link, and payment QR image.
• Inventory — product names, categories, cost and selling prices, and stock quantities.
• Sales — the bills you record, including items, quantities, discounts, and totals.
• Customers & credit (udhaar) — customer names and phone numbers you add, and the credit/payment entries you record for them.
• Preferences — language, currency, theme color, and whether you have removed ads.

You control this information: individual products, customers, sales, and credit entries can be deleted from within the app at any time.

2 Where your data is stored

All of the above is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage (an on-device SQLite database), including images such as your logo and QR code. The app is offline-first and does not upload this data to Cubistack or anyone else. It never leaves your device unless you choose to send it — for example, sharing a reminder or payment link over WhatsApp (see Section 6).

3 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the app shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob (banner ads and occasional full-screen ads). To serve and measure ads, Google's AdMob SDK may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, and app-usage signals. This processing is governed by Google's policies:

• Google Privacy Policy
• How Google uses information from AdMob

Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), a consent prompt may appear before personalized ads are shown. If you purchase Remove Ads (Section 4), the app stops requesting ads.

4 In-app purchase (Remove Ads)

The app offers a single optional, one-time purchase — Remove Ads — handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; Cubistack does not see or store your card, bank, or payment details. The app only receives a confirmation that the purchase succeeded and saves a small flag on your device so ads stay off. Your purchase is tied to your Google account, which is how it can be restored after reinstalling or on a new device.

5 Permissions

The app requests the minimum permissions it needs:

• Photos / media — only when you choose to add a shop logo or payment QR image from your gallery. The selected image is saved on your device and is not uploaded anywhere.
• Internet — used to load ads and to process the optional purchase. Your shop, sales, and customer data are not sent over the internet by the app.

6 Sending messages via WhatsApp

The app can help you send a payment reminder or a payment link to a customer. When you do this, the app simply opens WhatsApp with a message pre-filled for the phone number you selected — you review and send it yourself. Cubistack does not transmit these messages or numbers to any server. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

7 Data sharing & disclosure

Cubistack does not sell, rent, or trade your data, and does not receive your business or customer information in the first place. The only data processing by others is by Google (AdMob and Google Play Billing) as described above, under Google's own policies. We may disclose information only if required to comply with a valid legal obligation — though, because your app data lives solely on your device, we do not hold it to disclose.

8 Data retention & deletion

Because your data is stored only on your device, you control its lifetime. Deleting a record removes it from the app. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of its data from your device. There is no server-side copy held by Cubistack to request deletion of. Ad and purchase data held by Google can be managed through your Google account settings.

9 Children's privacy

Kirana Billing & Stock is a business tool intended for shopkeepers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10 Security

Your data is kept in the app's private, sandboxed storage on your device, which other apps cannot access. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so we recommend protecting your phone with a screen lock. Since the data is on your device only, keeping your device secure is the best way to protect it.

11 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and significant changes may also be noted on the app's Google Play listing. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
